n. m. (also: refil):
1. Returned goods, item returned to a shop-keeper for a refund. Elle boucle ses fins de mois avec le coup des refiles bidons: She makes ends meet by operating the 'phoney refund' con-trick.
2. Aller au refile: To 'puke', to 'throw up', to vomit (also: accrocher les wagons).
3. Passer au refile: To 'cough up', to pay up under duress.
